Dear Mr. Dennen, I have been a fan of yours since the first time I heard your performance as Pilate in 1971 on the original JCS recording which I still enjoy to this day. Internet resources now make it possible to learn of presentations of your other performances and I enjoy them at every opportunity.

Barry, I just wanted to say that your role in JCS in 1973 is truly remarkable,and I wish to see you on the stage one day. Perhaps, you will visit Boston to perform. I seen Ted Neeley in his final performance at the Wang Theater on 8 May 2010, it was very moving. However,the person who played Pilot was "Noticebly Lacking" indeed. Haven't seen JCS in years, just saw it again today. I used to get chills when you sang, today I got chills again. Now that's singing!!! |
